    The heart of the action. Here, 48 participants cook together under the guidance of star-awarded and toque-awarded chefs.

    Around the Star Stage, three Theme Stages, each with its own focus, make for a varied, interactive cooking school.

What is KOCHWELTEN?

KOCHWELTEN is a culinary festival to join in or watch – a new kind of cooking school. On stages full of flavour, in the Tasting Rooms, in the Outdoor Area and in the Networking Area you will meet star chefs and top chefs, product experts, sommeliers and food influencers.

You will find every area of the festival in the programme.

Can I cook along myself?

Yes – that is the whole idea. On the Star Stage, 48 participants cook together at twelve cooking stations, guided by star-awarded and toque-awarded chefs. The Theme Stages host cooking classes on different culinary themes – with up to 24 people per stage and lasting up to 90 minutes. If you would rather watch, you are just as welcome.

What are the Tasting Rooms?

The Tasting Rooms are exclusive experience spaces for everyone who wants to discover fine food and drink with all their senses: from Austrian and international wines to culinary tastings, workshops and master classes, through to coffee and tea culture, spirits, beers and cocktails.

VIECON Messe Wien is centrally located in Vienna’s 2nd district, close to the Prater, and can be reached by underground line U2 (Messe-Prater or Krieau stations). The address: VIECON Messe Wien, Messeplatz 1, 1020 Wien, Hall A.
